ISCC Definition
ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is a global certification system that aims to ensure the traceability and sustainability of biomass and sustainable energy. It is the first certification system to meet the EU's Renewable Energy Directive. Since its implementation in 2010, it has now developed into one of the world's largest certification systems, with more than 4,800 valid certificates covering more than 100 countries and regions.

ISCC certification includes three types of certification
1.ISCC EU: Applicable to the energy industry, especially biofuels
2.ISCC PLUS: Applicable to recycled and recycled materials/products, etc., widely used in toys, glasses, electronic products, furniture, food, energy and other fields.
3.ISCC CORSIA: Applicable to the air transport industry, aiming to reduce aviation carbon dioxide emissions.

Core standards of ISCC certification
Resource protection: Encourage enterprises to optimize resource utilization efficiency
Greenhouse gas emission reduction: Require enterprises to monitor, report and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the production process

Importance of ISCC certification
1. Expand market access: Many countries and regions have strict sustainability requirements for bioenergy and related products, and ISCC certification can help companies enter these markets.

2. Improve efficiency and reduce costs: By establishing and implementing a management system that complies with ISCC standards, companies can improve energy efficiency and reduce resource waste.

3. Reflect social responsibility: ISCC certification requires companies to respect human rights, ensure labor rights, etc. After obtaining certification, companies can establish a good corporate image.

ISCC certification application process
1. Select a certification body: The company selects a third-party testing agency approved by ISCC
2. Internal audit and preparation: The company needs to conduct an internal audit to check its own production process, supply chain management
3. Formal audit: The third-party verification agency will audit the company, including document review and on-site inspection
